repeated dose toxicity
The adverse effects occurring due to repeated doses that may not produce immediate toxic effects, but due to accumulation of the chemical in tissues or other mechanisms, produces delayed effects. Repeated dose toxicity may be studied following methods described in OECD Guidelines 407, 410, or 412 in OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals. (OECD definition)
